1. The Promoter is Premium Rentals Limited trading as SIXT NZ.

2. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these and any other applicable terms and conditions.  

3. The competition commences on 01 July 2026 and ends at close of business on 30 September 2026 (Promotion Period). 

4. Entrants must complete a rental car booking between 01 July 2026 and 31 July 2026 (Booking Period) on the SIXT NZ rental site: Car rental & Hire - SIXT New Zealand. The rental car hire must commence during the Promotion Period (Eligible Booking). Upon completion of the booking an Entrant will be allocated a unique competition number (Competition Number).

5. This competition is not open to rental car bookings outside of the Booking Period.

6. An Eligible Booking which is subsequently cancelled is no longer an Eligible Booking and the associated Competition Number is unable to win the Prize.

Prize

1. The sole prize consists of a trip for two people to Los Angeles, California, including:

   • Two (2) return business class flights from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch;

   • Accommodation for up to four (4) nights at a 5-star hotel located in downtown Los Angeles, selected by the Promoter;

   • Rental car for four (4) days, in a class of vehicle up to NZD$200 per day;

   • two (2) single-game tickets to one (1) NBA regular season home game played by the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California (Prize). The total prize pool is valued at NZ$26,000. The travel period selected is to be within the regular season games in Los Angeles

2. The Prize will be drawn by a Competition Number being randomly drawn from all eligible entries, under the supervision of an independent person.

3. The prize does not include any other costs or expenses, such as travel insurance, visas, airport transfers, meals, taxes, fees, or charges which are the sole responsibility of the winner and their companion. 

4. Selection of airline and departure times is at the Promoter’s sole discretion at the time of booking. Airline travel and accommodation are subject to the relevant supplier’s standard terms and conditions.

5. The Winner and their companion must travel together on the same flight and stay at the same hotel. 

6. The prize is subject to availability and must be booked and taken by 31 March 2027, after which time it will be forfeited.


Eligible Entrant


1. To be eligible to enter into this competition and to win the Prize, an Entrant must:

   • be a New Zealand resident, currently residing in NZ with a valid NZ home address;

   • be at least 21 years of age;

   • have a valid driver’s licence and passport with at least six (6) months validity from the date of the return leg of the travel; and

   • be legally able to travel to the United States of America.

2. This competition is not open to employees, agents or contractors of the Promoter, any of the NBA Entities (as defined below),  or any of their respective related companies or advertising or promotional agencies, or any other entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration, judging or fulfilment of the competition, or an immediate family member of such people.  The “NBA Entities” means The Los Angeles Lakers, Inc., the National Basketball Association (the “NBA”), NBA Properties, Inc., NBA Media Ventures, LLC, and NBA member teams.


Winner


1. The winner will be notified by phone and email using the contact details in the Eligible Booking within 5 business days of the prize draw occurring.  If the Winner cannot be contacted within 5 business days of the prize draw occurring or does not provide his/her passport details and preferred travel dates within 5 business days of being notified they are the winner, the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter may undertake a further prize draw using the same eligibility criteria to select a new winner.   

2. The Winner will be announced via the Promoter’s social channels (Facebook and Instagram) and on the Promoter’s website on 16 October 2026. The Winner consents to the Promoter using his/her name and image for publicity and promotional purposes. 

3. Prizes are not transferable or negotiable, nor can they be redeemed for cash. 

4. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded:

   • The Promoter and NBA Entities will not be responsible for any late, lost, misdirected or incomplete entries;

   • the Promoter and the NBA Entities will not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, cancellation or injury of any nature incurred or suffered by any Prize winner (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this competition or with winning any Prize, including any associated travel.


General


1. The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to this competition, including any matters relating to eligibility, is final.

2. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions or who tampers with the entry process.

3. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend the competition or otherwise amend or update these terms and conditions at any time at its sole discretion.  Any amended or updated terms will be published on the Promoter’s website.  

4. Your personal information may be used to conduct this competition and for future promotional purposes.  By entering into this competition, you consent to the use of your personal information in this manner.  The Promoter’s Privacy Policy will apply to personal information collected from you.  

5. The Promoter is not liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions due to any cause beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, fire, flood, storm, pandemic, epidemic, or any other natural or man-made event. 

6. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. 

7. The NBA Entities and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, shareholders, officers, directors, agents, members, representatives, and employees will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this competition or any prize awarded. The NBA Entities have not offered or sponsored this competition in any way.

8. This competition is in no way offered, sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this competition shall be directed to the Promoter and not to Instagram or Meta.
