Sir Colin was a keen family man and businessman, with an all-consuming passion for cars that never waned, through all of his life. He is well known for building enduring relationships, and for contributions to the automotive industry and in the world of motorsport, which is legendry.

A service to celebrate Sir Colin's life will be held at Holy Trinity Cathedral, Parnell, Auckland on 1 May at 2.00 pm.
