Mitch Evans. Formula E's All-Time King. And He's Not Done Yet.

The Auckland-born Jaguar driver became the first in Formula E history to reach 15 race wins earlier this season in Miami. Then last weekend in Berlin, he added a 16th, starting from 17th on the grid and working his way to the front through intelligent energy management and measured overtaking. The kind of drive that only looks straightforward because the person doing it makes it look that way.

He sits second in the championship, three points off the lead, with Monaco next on the calendar. A circuit where Evans has consistently been among the best. The title is very much alive.

What gives this run of form an extra dimension is that Evans is doing it while preparing to move on. After ten seasons with Jaguar, he has confirmed he will join Opel for the incoming Gen4 era. A decade with one team, more victories than any driver in the sport's history, and he is still pushing as hard as ever. There is no sentiment here. Just performance.

Away from the track, the Jaguar team had a notable visitor recently. The Prince of Wales dropped into the team's technical headquarters in Kidlington, Oxfordshire, and it was Evans who gave him a personal demonstration of the team's Driver-in-the-Loop simulator.

Sixteen wins. The outright record. And a world championship still within reach.
