
Motorsport Preview: F1 in Imola, Indy 500 qualifying + NASCAR All-Star
North America
Indianapolis is heating up towards the biggest race weekend in the Indy Car calendar, the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500. Practice sessions are underway leading up to the race. Catch Scott Dixon in the qualifying sessions this weekend on Sunday at 03:00am and Monday at 08:05am on Sky Sports.

NASCAR is having the All-Star weekend at North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. With two races this weekend the All-Star Open then the All-Star Race. Here is a breakdown of the two: the All-Star Open will be a 100-lap event. The top 2 finishers from the Open, and the Fan Vote winner, will transfer to the All-Star Race. The All-Star Race will be a 250-lap event, with the winner taking home the $1 million prize. SVG will be back in his Weathertech colours. Ryan Yardley is jumping into Porsche Endurance Challenge North America this weekend with co-driver Damir Hot and Charlie Hayes Racing at Circuit of the Americas. Ryan has had experience winning at COTA last year in Carrera Cup North America. The 90 minute endurance race is on Monday 8:05am.

Europe
Formula 1 heads to Italy for the start of the Euopean stint. Starting off with in Imola for the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, the anti-clockwise circuit is fast with an old-school feel as the drivers put it on the line in iconic corners like the aforementioned Acque Minerali and Piratella. Liam Lawson looks to build on his performance in Miami.

Asia
Mitch Evans will be racing on the streets of Tokyo this weekend in Formula E. The challenging 18-turn, 2.582km street circuit will surround the Tokyo International Exhibition Centre – the largest venue in Japan also known as Tokyo Big Sight. It's a challenging layout that includes three notable straights, technical sequences of tight corners, and high-speed combinations set against the stunning Tokyo metropolis backdrop.
