New Zealand
Brock Gilchrist is coming home to Hampton Downs this weekend to compete in the final round of the North Island Endurance Series and teaming up again with Glenn Cotterill in the 992 Cup Car. Gilchrist will be racing on the international circuit for the 3-hour taking place on Saturday at 1:45pm. It is a free entry event, so come on down to watch.
Australia
We’re heading to the far north as Supercars and Porsche Carrera Cup Australia head to Darwin. Five of our Giltrap Group Motorsport drivers will be battling the heat of the Northern Territory. Andre Heimgartner, Ryan Wood and Matt Payne driving in the Supercars. Meanwhile, Marco Giltrap and Clay Osborne are in the third round of Carrera Cup Australia.
North America
Shane van Gisbergen is coming into the week fresh off his win in Mexico. NASCAR is at Pocono Raceway, also known as theTricky Triangle, a superspeedway located in the Pocono Mountains in Long Pond, PA. An asphalt triangle oval with each corner modelled after a few other famous ovals. Turn one (14 degree banking), is inspired by Trenton Speedway (Closed 1980). Turn two (9 degree banking), is inspired by Indianapolis Motor Speedway and turn three (6 degree banking), is inspired by the Milwaukee Mile.
IMSA is at Watkins Glen this weekend with the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, Porsche Carrera Cup North America and Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Racing in the 6-Hour event is Hunter McElrea and Earl Bamber. Ryan Yardley took to the track after a great weekend in Porsche Carrera Cup North America in Canada last weekend, where he claimed pole for both races and got a race win. Brendon Leitch jumps back into Lamborghini Super Trofeo with his co-driver Anthony McIntosh.
IndyCar and Indy NXT head to Road America this weekend. Scott Dixon is driving in IndyCar, while Callum Hedge and Liam Sceats are in Indy NXT. Road America is located midway between Milwaukee and Green Bay in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Its legendary four-mile, 14-turn road circuit has challenged the world’s best racers for over half a century.
Asia
Mitch Evans is racing in Jakarta, Indonesia, this weekend for the Formula E. Jakarta makes its highly anticipated return to the Formula E series for Round 12 of Season 11. The hot and humid race in Jakarta is one of the most physically challenging events on the calendar.
