Under the bonnet is the familiar twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, which with 488 kW/800 Nm torque, can catapult the Vantage Roadster to 100km/h from a standstill in just 3.5 seconds. And if you’re brave enough (and have a private bit of road), it’ll hit 325 km/h. This isn’t just a convertible - it’s a rocket ship with the roof down.

Speaking of the roof, this one folds down in just 6.8 seconds and goes back up in 6.7 - faster than any other convertible on the market. Even better, you can do it while cruising at up to 50 km/h; so, whether the sun comes out or the rain rolls in, you’re covered (or uncovered) in seconds.

As something of an engineering marvel, the Vantage Roadster is only 60 kg heavier than the Coupe and still boasts a near-perfect weight balance, meaning there is next to none of the traditional sacrifices a driver would have to make for the open-top experience.

Inside, the Roadster receives the Aston luxury treatment, including hand-stitched leather and the new centre console and crisp infotainment screen seen in the Coupe. This means it has all the tech and connectivity options that you could possibly need, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto of course.
