Lamborghini's hybrid range collects awards worldwide

Lamborghini’s hybridisation-era couldn’t have gotten off to a better start, with a trophy case overflowing with international accolades and a record-breaking 10,687 cars delivered.

Leading the charge was the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first High Performance Electrified Vehicle. Road & Track crowned it their “2025 Performance Car of the Year,” while Esquire, Robb Report, and Motor1.com all celebrated its near-hypercar credentials. Even the design world took notice, with the Chicago Athenaeum’s Good Design Award recognizing the Revuelto’s outrageous aesthetic. It was a hit in Asia too, with India’s Motoring World naming it “Supercar of the Year,” Singapore’s OneShift calling it the “Super Luxury Hybrid Coupé of 2024,” and The Edge included it in “The Year in Cars – 2024.”

Not to be outdone by its low-slung sibling, the Urus SE is set-up to continue Lamborghini’s dominance in the Super SUV space. The hybrid variant of the Urus was named “Best Car 2024” in the luxury SUV category by Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport and claimed first place in Sport Auto’s annual awards and its redesigned cabin earned “Dashboard of the Year” at the Automobile Awards in Paris.

Then there’s the Temerario. Despite not yet available to the public, Lamborghini’s 10,000RPM capable V8 monster is understandably generating plenty of hype. Top Gear and CarBuzz both included it in their “Most Anticipated Cars of 2025” lists, while Qatar’s Arab Car of the Year Awards named it “Best Hybrid Sports Car.”

With the Temerario and Urus SE arriving at Lamborghini Auckland this year, 2025 is looking even more exciting.
