Classics set to shine at Ayrburn

An exceptional motoring event has been announced in the spectacular surrounds of Ayrburn, near Arrowtown.

Designed as a celebration of motoring heritage and innovation within some of the most stunning scenery New Zealand has to offer, the inaugural Ayrburn Classic motor show has been announced for March 2025.

Located near Arrowtown, Ayrbryn has fast become Central Otago’s hottest wine and food destination. The multi-venue precinct allows visitors to enjoy restaurants, bars, wine tastings and plenty more. And across March 21-23, 2025, the vibrant hospitality precinct will also serve as a spectacular location for a motor show unlike any other.

“Our vision for the Ayrburn Classic is to grow it into the most prestigious destination motoring event in the Southern Hemisphere," says Chris Meehan, founder and CEO of Ayrburn's owner, Winton. “We’ll be delivering an unmissable, unforgettable, and undeniably Ayrburn experience for guests.”

In keeping with Ayrburn's pioneering history and New Zealand's proud motoring heritage, the theme for the inaugural Ayrburn Classic is 'Kiwi Pioneers'.

“Think of names such as McLaren, Britten, Saker, and Rodin. New Zealand’s contributions to automotive innovation and international motorsport will come to life at the Ayrburn Classic,” says Chris.

Other feature classes to be showcased across the weekend include American Vintage and Muscle, the Best of British, Exceptional European, Japanese Icons, Awesome Australians, Supercar Stunners, Unique and Exotic, and Two-Wheeled Wonders.

Visitors to the Ayrburn Classic will also be able to view the very latest luxury and performance models from Aston Martin, Bentley and Lamborghini, courtesy of the Giltrap Group.
