Giltrap Motorsport take top honours at New Zealand Grand Prix weekend

Giltrap Motorsport dominated once again over the weekend at Highlands Motorsport Park during the 69th New Zealand Grand Prix

The weekend began with both drivers securing pole position in their respective classes. Marco Giltrap capitalized on his strong start, winning all three races in his Porsche Cup Car and further extending his commanding lead in the Junior Pro Open class.

William Exton was close behind. The Blenheim driver piloted his McLaren Auckland Artura GT4 to two class victories and secured second place in Race 2 after a fierce battle with Aytron Hodson in the Toyota Supra. Exton’s championship lead has grown even furhter, leaving his rivals with fewer opportunities to close the gap.

Highlands’ challenging layout demands commitment, and both Giltrap and Exton pushed the limits to maintain their dominant form.

Giltrap Motorsport now turns its focus to the final round at Hampton Downs. With momentum on their side, they aim to secure both class titles with minimal fuss in the Waikato.
