Motorsport: KartSport New Zealand National Sprint Champs

The next generation of Kiwi racers is looking bright at the KartSport New Zealand National Sprint Champs.

218 drivers descended on KartSport Hamilton over the Easter Weekend to compete in the 2025 Craigs Investment Partners KartSport New Zealand National Sprint Championship. There was fierce competition amongst all age groups, with spectacular driving by all. The conditions were tough, with plenty of wet weather driving keeping the racers on their toes.

Among the drivers were two familiar faces – Clay Osborne and William Exton. Both competed over the weekend and even starting side by side on the grid. The GT New Zealand GT4 Championship winning McLaren Artura GT4 driven by William Exton over the summer was on display for young drivers to see the exciting pathway that karting can take them on.

Congratulations to all the drivers and their support crews. We can’t wait for more racing!
