Incoming Volvo EX30 elected Carwow 'Car of the Year'
The hotly anticipated all-electric Volvo EX30 has taken the top-spot at media giant Carwow's Car of the Year awards. Due in the first half of 2024, the EX30 aims to be Volvo’s entry-point into their premium electric SUV range as the smallest SUV that Volvo has ever created. It is already receiving rave reviews from international journalists, with this award being yet another feather in it's cap.
The range starts with a single-motor version providing 268hp and goes up to a 422hp twin-motor model that can complete the 0-100km/h sprint in a frankly silly 3.6 seconds.
“To help buyers make the right choice for them, we’ve looked at everything from price and performance, to efficiency, comfort and practicality – the things that really matter to car buyers,” said Carwow Chief Content Officer Mat Watson. “We’ve picked out the cars that we think lead the field and offer something different, innovative and valuable to buyers paying out their hard-earned money."
The EX30 is built with a wide range of premium sustainable materials, features class-leading ergonomics and the sort of Swedish flair that you can only get with a Volvo.
If the launch film starring Volvo Cars CEO Jim Rowan is anything to go by, the little EX30 will make a big splash when it arrives here in Q2 24.
