Deadly Ponies Debuts New Silhouettes In Voyage SS22 Range
New silhouettes and a Voyage debut eco-material, wedded with awe-inspiring hues derived from George Ohr's fired glazes, infuse Deadly Ponies Voyagers with a warm tropical playfulness. Established by Liam Bowden in 2005, Deadly Ponies has grown from a tiny, garage-based project to an internationally renowned leather accessories brand, harbouring both a consistent drive for pushing design boundaries and the pursuit of full transparency in every stage of creation.
Designed in New Zealand, and entirely handcrafted at the label’s own eco-atelier, Deadly Ponies has presented its latest, coveted Voyage collection for Spring. Each piece, says the designer, has been timelessly designed with work, leisure, or weekend getaways in mind.

Eco-neoprene, crafted from recycled seashells – a byproduct of the seafood industry – lightens up Deadly Ponies’ travellers for the summer season. Framed with Bovine leather and signature gunmetal hardware, the marriage of materials results in supreme wearability and eye-catching difference.
The Proton Backpack Neo benefits from the featherweight touch of eco-neoprene, alongside Phantom Neo, the coveted duffle, and Atom Neo, a new shape of wash/accessories bag.
Elsewhere the new Proton Mini Compact is diminutive as the name suggests, but still has room for a laptop. This addition showcases leather in the tropics-invoking yolk, lush forest, and classic black. A host of other beloved unisex Voyagers step out in these vibrant new season hues, perfectly offset with Deadly Ponies’ familiar brass hardware.
Constantly drawing inspiration from the art world, the natural world, Deadly Ponies founder Liam Bowden designs pieces both unique and iconic, with sumptuous materials and artisanal quality craftsmanship ensuring longevity.

From creative inception in New Zealand, with the majority of the pieces handcrafted in Deadly Ponies' own eco-atelier in Chiang Mai, Thailand, supple, Bowden says his ethically sourced leathers become coveted and eminently usable works of art.
