Television reimagined with Samsung
Samsung continues to reimagine the role of TV in the home and deliver new ways consumers can experience content, art, and stunning design in 2021. Samsung’s latest innovations in AV have changed the entertainment experiences that New Zealanders can have in their homes. What was once seen as out of reach is now readily available, revolutionising the in-home entertainment market. Let’s take a closer look at Samsung’s impressive television portfolio.
NEO QLED
Samsung takes a quantum leap in TV display technology with its new Neo QLED models which push the large screen experience to an entire new level. Thanks to this new technology, available in premium 4k (QN90A) and flagship 8K (QN900A) models, a completely new light source delivers deep blacks, vibrant colour and incredible sound wrapped in a stunning design. How is this impressive picture quality achieved? Quantum Mini LED, which is precisely controlled by Quantum Matrix Technology and a powerful picture processor called the Neo Quantum Processor, provides Samsung’s Neo QLED TVs with the ultimate light control. The powerful Neo Quantum Processor, trained in AI upscaling and deep learning technology, can optimise picture quality to 4K and 8K picture output regardless of the input quality. The top-of-the-line Neo QLED 8K TV also features Samsung’s Infinity Display—a nearly bezel-less screen providing an immersive viewing experience in a sleek design and form factor. The 8K model also packs in several premium, room-filling audio features, including Object Tracking Sound (OTS) Pro which offers dynamic sound corresponding to the movement of objects on screen.

THE FRAME
Bringing inspiration into every home, Samsung believes living spaces deserve more than just a TV. Samsung’s extensive lifestyle TV range has also recently welcomed an updated edition of the stunning Frame. Sitting flush against the wall and with new customisable bezel options (Modern and Beveled), The Frame now features a significantly slimmer profile, just like framed photos and pictures which might be arranged around or near it on the living room wall. In order to help match the aesthetic of whatever room The Frame is in, Samsung’s Art Store continues to add new works, now offering 1,400 pieces from world-renowned galleries. These allow you to transform your home into your own personal gallery. Also, Samsung’s One Clear Connection lets The Frame become a seamless part of your interior design by connecting it to the cables hidden away in the One Connect Box. No more unsightly mess of wires underneath the TV. Whether it's switched on or off, The Frame delivers a sumptuous picture, reflecting who you are and what you love.

THE PREMIERE
Samsung’s all-new 4K Ultra Short Throw laser projector, The Premiere, provides Kiwis with a big picture cinematic experience from the comfort of their own home this winter. Available in two models, both iterations of The Premiere offer a thoroughly immersive experience. The LSP7T single laser projector offers up to 120” screen size, while the top-of-the-line LSP9T, which boasts triple laser technology, offers up to 130-inch image size.
Its ultra-short throw laser technology means The Premiere can be positioned close to the wall – allowing the sleek projector to neatly fit into a living room arrangement. The Premiere range delivers revolutionary contrast and detail from bright and dark scenes, with a peak brightness of up to 2,200 lumens in the LSP7T and 2,800 lumens in the LSP9T. Samsung’s Premiere also supports Filmmaker Mode – the first of its kind for a projector – which helps remove motion smoothing and other post-processing treatments allowing Kiwis to watch movies as the creators intended. While The Premiere is bright and versatile enough to be used on a white wall in a semi-lit room, for the best picture quality experience it is recommended to be paired with a CLR projection screen.
Using a CLR screen designed for ultra-short throw projectors absorbs ambient light while also reducing ceiling reflections, thus maximising the contrast and clarity of the image for the best experience possible.
