The introductory collection of Fabergé egg shaped, hoop and stud earrings, bracelets, gemstone statement cuffs and pendants draws inspiration from historical Fabergé pieces. The famed Russian jewellery brand, known for their colourful enamel bejewelled eggs are now represented in New Zealand by Partridge Jewellers. The brand’s latest collection of jewellery pays homage to their coveted signature product born in 1882 when Peter Carl Fabergé took over his father’s very ordinary jewellery business. Together with his brother Agathon, he quickly transformed it into an international phenomenon.

Fabergé became well known as a design-led artist-jeweller with a penchant for colour through both stones and reviving the lost art of enamelling. They added objets deluxe to their repertoire, including objets de fantaisie such as the Imperial Easter Eggs, now regarded as pinnacles of the goldsmiths’ art and treasured in some of the world’s leading museums and private collections to this day.

That dedication to creation of the finest standard is a constant in Faberge’s modern line of Jewellery, available now through Partridge Jewellers.

Drawing inspiration from historical Fabergé pieces, this collection of Fabergé egg shaped, hoop and stud earrings, bracelets, gemstone statement cuffs and pendants perfectly channel 1800’s Romanov splendour.

Perhaps the most playful interpretation is with the pendants that translate the iconic egg shape with contemporary use of diamond, gold, enamel and gemstones and a unique selection of these fine jewellery pendants open to reveal a miniature surprise inside.

Earrings are stunning examples of diamond, ruby, sapphire and emerald earrings, set in 18k yellow, white or rose gold.

The high jewellery bracelets also subtly echo Fabergé’s legacy by use of unique gullioché enamelling, Fabergé egg shaped designs, diamonds and brightly coloured gemstones.
