ASTON MARTIN VALHALLA ARRIVING NEXT YEAR
Aston Martin Auckland has secured an allocation for New Zealand, and deposit holders are now able to specify their Valhalla ahead of deliveries starting later next year.
Valhalla marks a series of firsts for Aston Martin. The headline grabber is the all-new flat-plane crank V8, the most powerful V8 ever fitted to an Aston. Producing 817 BHP, it is boosted into quadruple figures by the hybrid unit consisting of three electric motors: two on the front axle and another filling any gaps in the monstrous V8’s power delivery. The front motors also take care of the reverse and offer an all-electric-front-wheel-drive range of 15 kilometers.
The Valhalla is a testament to high-performance engineering. Designed as an extreme exercise in design and performance, these images of the production-ready car leave little to the imagination. The involvement of Aston Martin's F1 team in its engineering is evident in features like inboard coil springs operated by pushrods, carbon brakes, and a carbon fibre tub with sub-frames mounted front and rear.
Weighing in at 1655kg, Valhalla will go from 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 350km/h. It is as track-focused as it is road-ready. Active suspension and aero, including a DRS system and an air brake that generates 600kg of downforce, constantly work with the all-wheel-drive system to keep Valhalla in focus at high speeds.
With only 999 Valhalla’s set to be produced, owning one is a truly exclusive experience. For more information, visit Aston Martin Auckland.
