Motorcorp Distributors Ltd announces new General Manager

Ben Montgomery has been appointed General Manager of Motorcorp Distributors Ltd, effective Monday, 17 February. The role will lead a team of 40 staff employed by the business, including responsibility for eight Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) retailers across New Zealand.

Montgomery brings a wealth of experience to the position, having held significant leadership roles within the automotive industry for over 21 years, including Volkswagen Marketing, Jaguar Land Rover Operations, and most recently, Volvo New Zealand’s General Manager.

With a proven track record of driving growth, operational excellence, and fostering a customer-first culture, Ben's leadership style and passion for the automotive industry are set to drive Motorcorp Distributors into its next chapter of success.

Kenchington will continue as CEO of Motorcorp Distributors until he commences his new role on 3 February 2025.
