Mitch Evans preparing Brooklyn Peltz Beckham for Formula E debut

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham is adding racing-driver to his eclectic mix of careers, as he prepares to take the wheel of Jaguar TCS Racing’s I-TYPE 7. Under the tutelage of Jaguar’s Mitch Evans, a multiple race winner, Beckham will undergo intensive training before hitting the track at the Miami International Autodrome on March 5.

The 26-year-old will follow a rigorous program that includes simulator work, physical training, and technical briefings with Jaguar’s engineers. The goal? To get him ready to handle the record-breaking GEN3 Evo race car, an all-electric machine that accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 1.82 seconds—faster than a Formula 1 car.

“I’ve loved motorsport all my life, so when the opportunity came to be part of Evo Sessions with Formula E and Jaguar, I jumped at the chance,” Beckham said. “The performance of these cars is insane, and learning from a team like Jaguar and a driver like Mitch Evans is an incredible opportunity.”

Evo Sessions is a new initiative bringing 11 well-known figures from sports, tech, and entertainment into the world of Formula E. Each participant will be embedded with a team, learning what it takes to compete at the top level of electric racing. The event, taking place March 5-6, will give them firsthand experience of the sport’s cutting-edge technology.

Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal James Barclay praised the initiative, saying, “Formula E is always pushing boundaries, and Evo Sessions is another example of that. We’re excited to have Brooklyn join us, and with Mitch Evans as his coach, he’s in good hands.”

Beckham will soon find out whether his enthusiasm for motorsport translates into skill on the track.
