McLaren unveils ultra-exclusive MCL38 Celebration Editions
Only nine units of each model will be produced worldwide, each featuring a bespoke livery inspired by the MCL38’s colours. Additional exterior details nod to McLaren’s most successful modern F1 season, including a Champion’s Laurel and a number nine formed by nine stars.
Inside, the special editions feature clear carbon fibre sill covers personally signed by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. The standout, however, is a dedication plaque to the MCL38, incorporating an authentic piece of carbon fibre bodywork from the championship-winning car.
“The relentless pursuit of excellence is intrinsic to the McLaren mindset, and in 2024 we demonstrated this with incredible success on both the track and the road. The achievements of Zak Brown, Andrea Stella, Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, and the entire McLaren Racing team in winning the Formula 1 Constructors’ Championship are beyond inspirational – and what better way to mark this than with an ultra-exclusive Celebration Edition of our award-winning Artura and 750S,” said McLaren Automotive CEO Michael Leiters. “Just nine examples of the Artura and nine of the 750S MCL38 Celebration Edition cars will be produced, each proudly commemorating McLaren’s most recent championship victory while delivering the exhilarating and unbeatable driving experience inherent in our world-class supercars.”
Mechanically, the MCL38 Celebration Editions remain unchanged. The 750S retains its 4.0L twin-turbo V8, producing 552kW/800Nm and accelerating from 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds. The Artura’s twin-turbo V6 plug-in hybrid system delivers a combined 500kW/720Nm, reaching 100km/h in 3.0 seconds.

McLaren revealed the successor to the Championship-winning MCL38, the aptly named MCL39, at the F1 75 event at the O2 Arena. With a livery much that same as it's predecessor, McLaren will be hoping for it to find similar success.
