EV4 set to broaden Kia's EV line-up
The new models aim to broaden Kia’s electric lineup, offering a mix of Kia’s latest design signature and technology tailored for a broad range of buyers.
Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global Design, describes the EV4 as a step forward in redefining mobility. “By offering both sedan and hatchback variants, we are bringing customers the unique experience of modernity and practicality that defines the Kia EV family,” he said.
The EV4 sedan takes a fresh approach, featuring a low, streamlined nose that extends into a long-tail design. Meanwhile, the EV4 hatchback is designed as a compact, all-purpose vehicle with a clean, versatile look. Both models are built with Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, blending sharp lines with bold details.
At the front, both versions showcase Kia’s EV Tiger Face, framed by vertically oriented headlights and the brand’s signature Star Map lighting. The sedan’s long-tail silhouette is emphasized by a rear spoiler and technical-patterned 19-inch wheels, adding to its futuristic look. The rear continues the theme with a two-piece spoiler and vertical light units that reinforce its wide stance.
The hatchback takes a slightly different approach, featuring robust fenders, contrasting black vertical C-pillars, and strong geometric detailing. The rear mirrors the sedan’s sculpted proportions but introduces a sloping rear window and wide-set taillights for a distinctive identity.
For those wanting something sportier, the EV4 GT-Line steps it up with wing-shaped bumpers and triangular-patterned 19-inch wheels.
Local pricing and specification are yet to be announced but contact Giltrap Kia for the latest information on the EV4.
