Lamborghini Celebrates a Decade of Ice Driving with Accademia Neve

Lamborghini has celebrated a decade of its Accademia Neve with a special edition event in Livigno, Italy, where three of its most exciting models tackled the frozen terrain.

The lineup featured the Urus SE, Revuelto, and the off-road-special Huracán Sterrato, each showcasing their capabilities in the extreme conditions.

The Urus SE, Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid Super SUV, made its ice-driving debut in Livigno. Its twin-turbo V8, paired with an electric motor, delivers a huge 588kW and 800Nm of torque. However, it was the all-wheel-drive system and electric torque vectoring that enabled it to carve through the ice with a grace that belies its stature.

Bringing its unmistakable soundtrack to the Alps was the Revuelto, with its thunderous 6.5L V12. This plug-in hybrid powerhouse, featuring electric motors on the front wheels, transferred its 1,001 horsepower into controlled performance on the ice—demonstrating how Lamborghini’s hybrid technology can adapt to any surface.

Perhaps the most at home in Livigno’s winter wonderland was the Huracán Sterrato. Designed with off-road performance in mind, the Sterrato thrived in the icy conditions, looking as natural sliding sideways on snow as the Revuelto does on a racetrack. With its raised ride height, widened stance, and rally-inspired driving mode, it’s the ultimate tool for those looking to take their Lamborghini down the roads (or trails) less travelled.

Each Lamborghini in the lineup was equipped with Bridgestone’s custom-engineered Blizzak LM005 tires, ensuring maximum grip on the ice and allowing drivers to push the limits.

In its tenth year, the Accademia Neve once again reaffirmed that extreme conditions are no obstacle for a Lamborghini.
