MG's e-GT - First Look
MG call this the Cyberster, but after seeing the first car to arrive in Australasia, Shaun says MG have missed a trick with the name. The spiritual successor to the MGB is crying out for a similar name…and with the finished product being more of a Grand Tour than a back-to-basics sports car, the GT moniker seemed a perfect fit.
Even better, the Coupe version unveiled at Goodwood is already badged as the GT S…so MG could easily go MG e-GT.
Back to the Cyberster (for now): It is a high-performance (3.2 seconds 0-100km/h) electric roadster, and the first, with MG beating the likes of Porsche, Tesla, and Polestar in getting their electric roadster on the road.
From its 24-inch driver display to the electric scissor doors, this car offers more technology and comfort than any other British sports car. And with 375kW, it is also the most powerful MG ever built.
