It is perhaps only natural that a California brand like Levi’s should be deeply in touch with the West Coast lifestyle. But “West” doesn’t always mean beaches and sunshine. Mountains, forests, valleys, and lakes are a major part of the region as well. It’s a place, says Levi’s, where nature is right on the doorstep, and where an outdoor life means dressing for both comfort and style.
This is where the new Levi’s Gold Tab collection comes in.
Launching this Spring/Summer 2022, Levi’s Gold Tab is a vintage-inspired collection with a Northern California twist. It’s a natural extension of the Levi’s casual lifestyle, where nostalgia meets cozy comfort, blending ‘70s and ‘80s vibes in a way that still feels modern.
Grounded in wear-anywhere casual essentials that elevate style, Gold Tab takes a relaxed, cool approach to vintage-inspired, comfort-based clothes. With a colour palette that mixes earth tones and primary colours in a ‘throwback’ sort of way, the collection features basics such as sweats, hoodies, and tees, as well as sportier elements like tank tops, joggers, and leggings.
Light technical elements feature on pieces such as the new men’s Anorak (with hood and kangaroo pocket), the quilted puffer vest, and a mesh short and top. There’s also a collegiate jacket for women in forest green with striped elastic collar, cuffs, and hem, and Northern California-inspired graphics on the back.
Speaking of graphics, these also feature on a range of Gold Tab sweatshirts, hoodies, and tees. Playing with these outdoorsy elements, the collection includes a woven Overshirt in both solids and plaids, perfect for layering over a T-shirt or hoodie, as well as a range of graphics that call out some California’s most iconic nature-filled destinations.
Finally, Levi’s Gold Tab introduces a whole new stylish line-up of French Terry, including sweatpants, sweatshirts, and hoodies.
