As corporate cars, FC Bayern Basketball players and officials are currently driving the e-tron, Q4 e-tron, and Q5 TFSI e models. The Bayern basketball players were allowed to familiarise themselves with their electric cars and tour the new charging infrastructure on-site at the official vehicle handover on October 19 in front of the Audi Dome in Munich.

The FC Bayern München basketball team's players and coaches received their new business cars at the Audi Dome. In the 2020/21 season, the team's players will drive the Audi e-tron or Audi Q4 e-tron. Marko Pei, the Managing Director of FC Bayern Basketball, and Andrea Trinchieri, the Head Coach of FC Bayern Basketball, are currently driving the plug-in hybrid Audi Q5 TFSI e. "The new Audi automobiles are extremely dynamic and a lot of fun to drive," Bayern captain Nihad Djedovic stated. Since 2011, the four-ringed manufacturer has been a Principal Partner and vehicle partner of the five-time German champion. Audi has also owned the name rights to the facility, the Audi Dome, since then.

On top of images and interviews, an overview to the charging infrastructure is provided.
The team and the reigning cup winners, led by coach Trinchieri, were treated to a wide programme of events at the Audi Dome in addition to the vehicle handover. The athletes took time for team photos and interviews after being welcomed by Hubert Link, Audi's Head of Marketing for Germany, and Fabian Fischer, Chief Business Officer FC Bayern Basketball. Following that, all players in small groups were given an overview of the charging infrastructure. "Electrifying the fleet and the Audi Dome on a constant basis is the next step in our successful collaboration with FC Bayern Basketball." We shall continue to work together to achieve our goals.

The charging infrastructure is provided by BayWa.
BayWa, a Munich-based retail, logistics, and services firm, is FC Bayern Basketball's principal sponsor, alongside Principal Partner Audi. The two partners worked together to get the new charging infrastructure at the Audi Dome up and running. BayWa Mobility Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of BayWa, installed it. At the VIP parking spaces, there are four AC wall boxes with two charging points each, and at the players' parking spaces, there are ten AC wall boxes with two charging points each. In mid-November, a second fast-charging station with two charging outlets will be installed in the VIP parking spaces.
