Handcrafted driving accessory manufacturer, The Outlierman, has announced exclusive new helmet and weekender bag additions to its range.

Jul 9, 2021

The new accessories have been launched in line with The Outlierman’s Tailor-Made Lab service, which provides customers with opportunities to customise their very own automotive travel bag set to match their car or race team.

Representing the best of Italian design and craftsmanship, The Outlierman company was formed with a mission to handcraft a range of accessories inspired by the supreme quality, and timeless appeal of the world's most iconic cars.

The Outlierman has further enhanced its flagship bespoke service - the Tailor-Made Lab - with the addition of the newly launched helmet and weekender bags.

The Tailor-Made Lab provides clients with exclusive options to customise their very own automotive-inspired travel bag set, whether they wish to match it to their car, racing team or a particular colour scheme. Consisting of four or more bags, items in the travel bag set can include a weekender garment bag, trolley bag, duffle bag and travel case or document case. Now, clients have the option to enrich their collection with the addition of a luxury leather helmet and weekender bag.

Intricately handcrafted in Italy, The Outlierman says its luxurious full-grain calfskin leather helmet and weekender bags create the perfect marriage of masculinity and sport. Designed in Bologna’s renowned Motor Valley and crafted by skilled artisans in Monza, near the Autodromo Nazionale Monza Formula One track, each item is inspired by the breath-taking beauty and supreme quality of the world’s most iconic cars.

Both the helmet and weekender bags are lined with the highest-quality microfiber fabric to accompany the luxury full-grain calfskin and sport suede leather, helping to protect goods from damage and illustrating quintessential Italian craftsmanship.

The elegant details adhering these all-new bags are a testament to the finest of luxury. Both feature The Outlierman’s metal logo carefully placed by hand on the leather exterior and include a leather ID tag, which can be personalised with the customer’s initials. A large top zip on each bag allows for effortless insertion and removal of items, whilst the helmet bag contains a spacious lower compartment to hold what you need on the track and in the pits, whether it be driving gloves, helmet accessories, driver shoes, wallets, protective scarves, or masks. Alongside this, protective metal feet and adjustable and detachable straps ensure both bags are designed to be durable and functional - the ultimate accomplice for all driving enthusiasts.

While the weekender garment bag has the capacity to unfold and carry a suit in the lining, the weekender bag - joining the Tailor-Made Lab - is smaller in size, so unable to do the same. Instead, The Outlierman’s design experts in Italy have created a solution for those who still wish to be able to transport a suit with their weekender. Clients now have the option of a leather suit cover, which can be used on its own, or can be fastened onto the outside of the weekender bag and can feature the same interior lining and external leather colour combination of their accompanying weekender bag.

Working closely with the company’s expert designers, clients will be able to create items that are deeply personal to them and match their cars or racing team.

Customers begin the process by visiting The Outlierman website (www.theoutlierman.com) and choosing either a travel case or a document case to accompany the weekender garment bag and trolley and duffle bag that form the Tailor-Made Lab. Clients are then able to add as many additional items to the set as they wish.
