Tennis ace, Novak Djokovic is among Hublot’s legendary ambassadors who wears the Big Bang Meca-10 Blue Ceramic

Born from the signature combination of gold and rubber that disrupted traditional watch form factors, Hublot has successfully embraced its ‘Be First, Different and Unique’ mantra that stems from the imagination of its visionary Chairman, Jean-Claude Biver and continues to be taken to new heights by current CEO, Ricardo Guadalupe.

Hublot’s hero in the current era is undoubtedly the Big Bang model line. The multi-award-winning Big Bang launched in 2005 and with iterations ranging from the simple to highly sophisticated, the Big Bang has paved the way for new flagship collections like the Classic Fusion and rectangular Spirit of Big Bang line.

It is as Hublot would say, art of fusion, and with it’s contemporary styling combinations, precise movement and muscular presence, there’s no surprise the brand has aligned with some the world’s greatest athletes in their ambassador programme. Football stars, Pelé and Kylian Mbappé, Sprinting phenomenon Usain Bolt and Golfer, Dustin Johnson already represent Hublot and now Tennis great, Novak Djokovic is the newest athlete to don a Hublot timepiece.

Already a living legend, but still at the top of his game, Djokovic has decided to join the great family of Hublot ambassadors and agrees the Swiss watchmaker shares relentless pursuit of excellence and performance.

Djokovic wisely chooses the Big Bang Meca-10 Blue Ceramic model. It features an efficient movement with a 10-day power reserve and the now iconic indigo blue ceramic case, this new model combines cutting edge mechanics and ultra-resistant materials like Anti-allergy, tamper-proof, microblasted and polished blue ceramic.

The 45mm case opens to a bluish skeleton mechanism and comes with Hublot’s patented One Click system which allows the wearerto change the strap in a single click.

A testament to beauty and technical expertise, it has two barrels parallel to the power reserve indicator: a cogwheel system with two rakes sliding along a horizontal axis. Accentuating this mechanical architecture, an opening at 3 o’clock unveils a red dot when the movement is nearing the final days of its power reserve, while a gearwheel at 6 o’clock indicates the exact number of days remaining and the regulating organ, coupled with the small second regulator, appears at 9 o’clock.
