In 1971 Colin Giltrap Giltrap’s passion for European cars saw him become the New Zealand distributor for NSU. By 1977 European Motor Distributors (EMD) was giving kiwis the chance to own Porsche, Volkswagen and Audi automobiles. Founded in 2006, Motorcorp Distributors Ltd became the authorised importers of Jaguar and Land Rover to New Zealand retailers spread across the country. Today through EMD and Motorcorp Distributors, many of Europe’s finest brands are imported and distributed nationwide.
